Looking to buy a 22lr with a threaded barrel and I think I'm down to these two. Previously had leaned heavily towards a CZ because of the wood stock. But now it looks like the threaded CZs are synthetic stock as well.

If that's the case, which have y'all found to be a better rifle? This will be for hunting purposes, not competition.

I own both and they are both well built and extremely accurate bolt guns.

For hunting you might also consider a Kidd.

Tikka has a better bolt throw and I've seen a lot of CZ's in competition yank the bolt handle out of the back end when running fast stages.

Hard to beat a Ruger 10/22.

I have a Marlin Model 60. I really want a threaded bolt gun for my suppressor

I have a CZ pro varmint and I love the rifle. I think the Tikka would be terrific as well. I have had the bolt come out of mine once when working it fast but I don't shoot competitions. There is not much it doesn't shoot well. Standard CCI is very accurate even out to 100 yards. SK Standard Plus has been the most accurate round I have tested. I can routinely shoot bottle caps at 100 yards. The SK HV stuff is also good out to longer ranges.

Can't go wrong with the CZ. Can't speak to the tikka

You might can have your barrel threaded.
