In my opinion this is a solid deal. I got mine 3 years ago for $319 and thought that was good.

I have a different brand that must've come from the same factory in China as the pictures are identical. The one linked is on sale for the current retail price of the one I have but with a MUCH better warranty.

Mine is a great grinder. Would recommend.

Bumping this thread because they're doing it again, but more.

Managed to (barely) not buy one last time, but now they've got the .5 HP model on sale for $250. Why *shouldn't* I buy it?

Bought the 0.5 hp on sale last week, package arrived and when I opened it, was their dehydrator and not the grinder. Some sort of mixup with their shipping.

Sent an email to their customer service about it, will see how it gets handled.

Thanks for the link!
I've been thinking about upgrading my .3HP LEM, so may pull the trigger on one. Also, would like to upgrade my crappy little slicer, so will be looking at them as well.

Anyone use a double grinder like they offer? Hadn't seen those until I started looking recently, and not sure if I like the idea or not. I guess for just straight ground meat, it would save a step, but I feel like grinding course, roughly mixing, and then grinding medium distributes the fat better for sausage?

Also, anyone use their slicer? I currently have a Chef's Choice 7" (model 615) that has been ok for 8 years, but I wonder if a better one would be worthwhile.
