Figured posting on here since there are a few that have jobs requiring being in the office and outdoors. Looking for something with standard dress pant type pockets (no cargo style pants) but with more durable materials. There is a decent chance they will get dirty so something with stain resistance would be nice and something not too expensive so if they do get stained it is not too big of a deal.

Check out the Wrangler ATG line. Nice pants and very affordable. looks like there are a few styles that do not have cargo pockets.

I've enjoyed a couple of pairs of Deluth Trading Fire Hose pants. They have lots of styles.

This x 1000! The relaxed fit 5-pocket Duluthflex Firehose pants are the best work pants I've ever used. They are always on sale every couple weeks so don't ever pay the full price for them. I pretty much quit wearing jeans

Also very important, they breathe really well to keep your twig and berries cooler.

ARIAT mens Rebar M4 Relaxed Durastretch Made Tough Stackable Straight Leg Pant

Switched from Carhart and Wranglers to these. Comfortable, durable and have a cell phone pocket on the side of the leg. It should be a rule that all men's pants/shorts/jeans should have a built in cell phone pocket in todays world.

Kuhl Rydr is my go to.

They do fade with washing, but they look good and are durable. I pretty much have completely replaced my blue jeans for work at this point.

Brunt has also caught my eye lately, but I haven't tried them.

I've also got a couple of the Kuhl Ryders and Kuhl Revolvr pants. Very comfortable, light, cell pockets and stain resistant. They are my summer pants as they are lighter weight. Also very pricey. I can buy 2 of the Ariats for one of the Kuhl's.

Yep. Duluth pants are worth the money and the only ones I buy now.

I'll second the Ariat Rebar jeans. They look good enough to wear to church with a sport coat but I can also wear them in the grain elevator and not have to worry about them ripping. I'm phasing out my Cinch white labels for the rebars. They also are really good for riding.

Some great brands already mentioned which I have pairs of. Some others that are good are Callaway 5 pocket EverPlay Pants, Under Armour Men's Drive Pants, Eddie Bauer Guide Pro Pants.

Kuhl Renegade. Very comfortable, like the side zip pockets and wrinkle free for travel packing.

Duluth makes great pants. They ball room jeans are amazing. They also have a nice selection of office style khaki pants that hold up well if you have to run down to the floor or outside.

I like the Magellan work pants at academy. Very comfortable, have some stretch in them, and very hard to get dirty. Also cheap.

Used to buy nice work pants. However all it takes is a snag on barbed wire to bring them down. Now I just do the academy wranglers that are like $40

I use the Orvis O.O.O.O pants. The out of office / office pants.

Tough, Water resistant, softish, ever so slight stretch. But coffe spills flow right off of them. Never stain. Can dress down or up.

Duluth for sure. They have several versions besides the basic ones cut like jeans. Some are more like slacks and others kinda in between. My favorite
for work are called Foreman.

Yep, that's one of the main reasons I first tried them. Hard to find a 38" inseam on most other brands.

Jeans don't breathe or flex unless they're 3% spandex. Good denim is good if you're going to be in the brush, but if snags aren't an issue, you'll be twice as comfortable in some canvas pants.

Employee handbook specifically says no jeans Monday through Thursday unless doing a startup in the field. With my old territory I have worn jeans every day for 15 years. My manager left so having to fill in with corporate stuff for a bit

Duluth supervisor/ Forman pants. Looks almost like docker khaki pants, but less refined. Not as business casual as regular khaki pants (thick hem at bottom, and side cell phone pocket) but look nice and not jeans or cargo. I like them for hunting as well.

Duluth 5 pocket are great, but it is a blue jean type pant.

Another vote for Wrangler ATG. Price point is good. Comfortable. They even make a quick dry synthetic that I bought for a hiking trip in Spain. Wore same pair daily for 5 days and they were great.

I love that side phone pocket on the foreman pants. Nice and unobtrusive, but more accessible than in your back pocket when you are riding in a truck or sitting in a meeting.

Their shirts are incredible, and I'm a huge fan. I never thought I would say that about a $70 shirt either.
