Painters had to leave doors open for a while today (they were painting the doors) and my bedroom is full of mosquitos. Anyone know how to get rid of them fast??

Shut door, put a bug zapper in there tonight. Sleep on the couch.

They're also in the living room. They painted the patio doors, too.

Get some bats, the mammal not the baseball kind..

Hot shot fogger

Crank the AC TO 65 & click the ceiling fan to high. They'll at least glue themselves to the ceiling til morning when you can vacuum them up.

That's what we've done in the past: little Dyson stick vacuum with the pointy wedge attachment gets them pretty fast.

I would plastic wrap anything you don't want bug residue, set bug bombs, and sleep in a hotel tonight

Termacell's. They work. But, in an enclosed area, there is no where else for them to go.

Put on bug spray and go to sleep. Pretend you are camping. Or get a mosquito net for your bed until you kill them all.

My husband will kill me if I crank the AC down to 65. I put on bug repellent. There are SO MANY in my closet.

Hot Shot has a no mess fogger. But you have to leave for two hours and then before you come back and they say you have to open all your windows and doors and turn on your fans and AC and air it out for two hours. Hello? Opening doors for two hours is what got me in this situation in the first place.

I did vacuum up a lot of them. But still way more inside.

Vacuum is awesome for trapping mosquitoes. Just use an attachment or one of those stick shark vacs and go to town. Mosquitoes are terrible flyers so you should be able to clear out a ton of them no problem without spraying. They will be drawn to the ceiling in most cases.

Fly tape in each room.

Turn on your vacuum and start sucking them up

Lizards like they have down in the islands. Turn a mess of them loose in your home and get out the way. Plus they're whimsical and decorative.

Go to harbor freight and pick up one of the electric fly swatters and go to town! It'll sound like the 4th of July, but few things are more satisfying than vaporizing those little F'ers.

I always rent dragonflies for inside work.

I will seriously bring some dragonflies inside.

Flying insect spray did a great job. I followed the instructions to basically gas a whole room.

The carnage makes me happy. So happy. Mosquito carcasses everywhere.

This was, surprisingly, quite effective. We put it out about three weeks ago to catch flies that had gotten in the house. Didn't catch a single fly. But when I looked at it today, it had caught a ton of mosquitoes.

If you have flies, I have found those little plug in glue traps with the blue light to be fairly effective.

Our flies ignored them completely. The mosquitos loved them.

For fly control there is this product called Max Force Fly Spot Bait. You can buy 2 ounce envelopes with covers about 125 Sq Ft. Mix up in a spray bottle with 1 pint of water. Kills flys in 60 seconds. A small spot has a 6 week residual control. Can be used indoors and outdoors residential & commercial areas.

Just be sure to spray it in a location that you want to attract & kill the flies. Where this stuff is sprayed the flies instantly start coming and then start dying in seconds.

These work great in our house for any flying insect that makes its way inside

I sprayed a few piles of fresh dog **** in our yard this summer with agricultural fly bait and I barely saw any flies the rest of the summer. I don't know for certain that's what knocked the population down, but it coincided with the beginning of this methodology.

I use it at my house and also at our cattle barn and don't have any fly issues

Case of beer and two Bug Assault salt guns. See if you can shoot all the bugs before the beer is gone.
