i understand the widely held sentiment on this board of paying that much for a cooler but in my experience Yeti makes a durable product that will last a very very long time.
Yep, just had a conversation this past weekend with a few guys about the rtic vs yeti price and quality differences. We figured it's perfectly fine to roll with the discount brand hard side coolers, they perform about the same and have similar durability, but in the soft side coolers, yeti has way better quality and is likely worth the price difference.
I have an original rtic 65 that still works great, I also bought a rtic soft side 20 that's on its last legs after just some light to medium use. Was fortunate enough to be gifted a yeti soft side 20 and won a yeti hard side 55 on wheels, both great products but I was glad to have spent $0 on them.
