Does anyone have this problem.

I don't think you provided enough info for anyone to help.

What fuel are you using?
How did you connect it?

It's hard to decipher the question? Make sure you start the generator with nothing plugged into the outlets, and then plug one thing in at a time.

I know to start with no load. I let run for about. Five minutes before plugging the extension cord into then trying to hook up the freezer. It's a gasoline model.

I've had a generator lose the polarity somehow in the magnets and I had to use some sort of trick with a power drill to restore it and then run it under load a while for it to begin producing a good current again.

Are you saying it is popping the breaker when you plug the freezer into the extension cord, or before anything is plugged into it?

No, there are push buttons I believe are for the circuit breakers. I have push them but nothing happens. Thanks for trying to help.

Okay, what Mouth is talking about is called field flashing, and could be the fix. Your generator can lose its magnetism if stored for a long time, or if run for a long time with no load. If it loses its magnetism it doesn't produce any power (if you've got a volt meter you can verify if no/low power at the outlet). If so, the procedure is pretty simple to flash it, or restore its magnetism. Turn the generator on, plug in a corded drill into one of the outlets, if the drill has a directional switch make sure it is set to go forward not reverse, depress the trigger and then spin the chuck hard counter-clockwise several times (5 or 6 times) and the drill will start working after a few seconds if that was the problem.
