I drew gun mulie at Big Bend Ranch state park as well. I was really only applying this year to get points because I already drew a bull elk tag in Colorado for third rifle. Hell of a problem to have! Not sure how I'm going to swing both of these hunts this year and really struggling to figure out which on I'd rather do if I had to pick.

Do we know when they are drawing for the big time hunts they have? I put in for a couple and was curious to know how you find out? If you dont get drawn, do they tell you?

Anyone hunted Richland Creek Trinity this year or going to be at the youth hunt this weekend? My son and I will be there hoping he can get his first buck. Gonna be warm but at least it is dry.

I hunted e-postcard archery there 3 times from '20-23 so i know my way around the place a little bit, just hoping we can get a compartment I've hunted before. Had an amazing hunt there 2 years ago although i only shot a pig. Had a big nontypical at 80 yards and saw quite a few really nice bucks. Hoping if I can get my son in the same spot w a rifle he can get a shot at something.

I shot 2 nilgais and a hog from one spot on my archery hunt at Teniente several years ago. It was a deer/nilgai highway through there. Also had a melanistic coyote come right by me. Amazing hunt.
I'll send you the spot if you want to text me. I had it on OnX but cancelled my sub but can send a satellite image of the location.

My nephew got drawn for a youth hunt in black gap for javelina. Crossing my fingers and hope he gets one the first night so I can still watch us btho tu. Any advice for that hunt? I've never hunted javelina before.

I'm at Black Gap as I type this. We saw 3 driving around yesterday. Today we drove 50 miles in the WMA. Saw a group of 4 at around 5:30.
