How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'm in the process of adding cellular trail cameras and checking to see if anyone has any recent feedback with the new models-
i'm looking at the flex S from spypoint since it has built in solar panels-
is there a better option that has built in solar? i'm using mostly for game but one camera at least will go on a gate-
Thanks in advance

I have 4 spypoint cameras and I really dislike them. I'll be switching to something else when I get around to it. The spypoint cameras drop offline pretty frequently and I have to factory reset them and manually update the firmware. I've had a few RMAs as well. Their support is good, but I've had to interact with their support so frequently that I think I'm ready to invest in a different brand

X2

Have 2 Tactacam's with solar chargers. Both run great and have service in an area my cell phone doesn't. I'll probably buy 2 more closer to season just for the convenience.

I've used both extensively. Tactacam is the answer.

My SPYPOINT recently bit the dust.
Based on feedback from my lease buddies, I'm going with a Tactacam Reveal SK.
If anybody sees any deals on them, I would appreciate it if details were posted.

Spypoints with built in solar panels will just fill up with rainwater. Been there, done that.

Fortunately it was still under warranty so I mailed it in and they sent me a new one which I promptly sold on OfferUp.

In year two running two Moultrie Edge without issue.

Same. Spypoint was such a disappointment for me. Had one of them get water in the lense, they lost coverage a lot and the picture quality just was a step below what Tactacam and Muddy have.

There is one supposedly coming out that will have a 360 degree camera that I'm waiting on - Stealthcam, but I don't think they've dropped yet.

Also, the one time I had to talk with Tactacam the support guy lived in The Woodlands. Not that it makes that much of a difference but it was nice talking with somebody that knew the area I was in.

Put me in the Tactacam concert camp.
Formerly SPYPOINT and not going back.
Tactacam just seems to be better and more reliable

Got my Tactacam Reveal set up today. This is a spot where I've had a feeder in the past and shot a deer and a hog. Curious to see what just wanders by even though my feeder isn't there right now ow.

Tactacam is good, moultrie edge is a good cheap camera. They have battery packs and solar panel kits now to pair with their cheap cameras.

I have both brands and really like them
