This was at a buddies place from 2 weeks ago. Those are 10' tall t-post sticking about 8' out of the ground. We hang targets from them. Pic is taken from the same spot. We spent this past weekend fixing fence and rescuing their floating dock

Another one just ran through the Bremond area. Cousin of mine lives in Kosse and they headed in to stay at my mom's.

Our farm and my Aunt's house is just west of Kosse on 413. She is good, just minor damage apparently

That's good to hear. They came in because they haven't had electricity since 10am this morning. Just "lucky" they left before the storm tonight.

Thanks for checking in, we are good.

I'm far enough south all I got was wind and rain, but know plenty of folks with major damage.

We actually lost power for about 12 hours last week in that storm that eventually hammered Houston. Power company cleared the hell out of the treeline afterwards and we didnt lose power ladt night. I'm grateful because the Temple damage is bad enough it probably would have been days before they got my little neighborhood back online.

I am 10 miles east of Groesbeck. Thankfully only got 2.5in of rain.
When the truth comes out, do not ask me how I knew.
Ask yourself why you did not.

I'm on the west side of Woodway. No damage, but did get 3.83" of rain. No hail or tree damage. I did see some wind damage near Ridgewood CC yesterday morning.

Seems like we're getting about 4" of rain per week over the past 4 weeks.

Lost a few trees in town. Our property out near Moody has received a lot of rain over the last month. You can see what the Leon river normally looks like and where it's at now.

This is a pick of the "hook" that spawned the tornado that went to Reagan, S of Kosse etc.
I literally saw this develop.

New owner of the Ranchito at Leon Junction got a good feel for just how much fence the Leon will take out…..

We live in the subdivision right at that Shipleys that was destroyed. Lived here since '94 and this was the worst storm and only confirmed tornado to hit this side of town. We just got power back 10 mins ago. God bless industrial sized generators and friends that had one for that "special" day.

Glad you have power back. We had a buddy over for dinner last night because his was out too, he got his back late last night.

We lived in Temple during the ice storm of '21 and were without power for 50+ hours with a 3 month old and a toddler in the house. Made it work just fine, but have a generator and a switch installed to run the panel at the new house to make things easier next time it happens.

Didnt even break it out when we lost power last week, but nice to have for sure.

We have learned S*** ton from this experience. I had been following the generator thread and was just about to pull the trigger on two of them and tether them. Then I got invited to a Vortex shoot in Ivan and it through my concentration off

I won't be caught off guard next time.
