I have a 2 seat golf cart style 4 wd ATV with a dump bed. I put the poles in the back of the bed but then i can't fit as much other stuff there and I don't like them bouncing around. Does anyone know of a good solution. I'd prefer a horizontal mount to the back of the b pillars but the ones I've seen are vertical tubes that people clamp to lawn chairs or bicycles.

Use some good double sided tape or strong Velcro on something like this

Nevermind.

Mine are all vertical because I don't want them broken. I don't have a solution for horizontal but if I did it would involve dismounting reels and a 4" PVC pipe at full length. Lol.

You will for sure want to remove reels at least if using something like that. With only two areas of the rod supported and the flex and bend that will come with the movement of the cart, the weight of the reel could easily damage the rod as it flexes. Or that would be my thought.

Bought the horizontal mount and the vertical. I'll try them both out and see which one works. Thanks for the suggestions.

Update. I think the horizontal are better. I'm worried about hitting branches with the vertical one.
