I replaced my dishwasher with a Bosch a couple of years ago... it is SILLY quiet, and the model I got has a removable third rack which I end up using a lot.

Does that include delivery? If not, Costco is cheaper.

$1219 or $1119 are the listed prices I see.

Delivery and install is well worth it but I understand if you'd prefer to do it yourself.

I am going to hang onto my Samsdung until Memorial Day and hope for a big sale.

Costco also includes a 2 year warranty in the cost over the standard 1 year.

Just marry a new one.

Lg drain pump went put. The want 500 to replace. Looking at the Bosch 800 for around 1200 installed from Home Depot. Everyone still happy with the 800?

We went with the 800 a few months ago as well and very happy with the decision.

Yep, had an 800 for 2 or 3 months. It's been great.

This weekend is tax free appliance weekend in Texas. Lowes has a pretty good sale going on as well. I'm planning on replacing my dishwasher with the bosch 800. In the past I've been able to get the tax free deals through home depots website so I'm planning to try the same thing this weekend through lowes website. They don't keep much stock at the stores anymore so I'm not holding my breath on showing up and buying one at the local lowes this weekend.

Our Samsung refrigerator stopped making ice after about 5 years. Still dispenses water though.

I made a huge mistake buying Samsung everything for my new home 10+ years ago... fridge, washer, dryer and TV all replaced within a couple years tops. I won't touch any of their stuff again.

Memorial Day Home Depot Sale now has the Bosch 800 pocket $898 thru 6/5. SHP78CM5N.

The handle style is usually $45 more but I didn't see one listed and didn't bother asking.

I am still seeing 1164 on the website. Do you have to go in store for that?

Yes, go to the store - or call them.

My League City HD is cheaper than the web price. Call your HD. I think the previous rebate is gone. The website does offer free delivery.

Did anyone buy the Bosch 800 this weekend?

Just got back from the Home Depot in the Heights and they didn't have it as tax free even though it should qualify.

They gave me $75 off to compensate for it but curious if anyone was able to purchase it without tax.

I'm sure I can write to Home Depot customer service and get the tax refund.

Went to store. Price was 300 less but only stainless. Wife said no go.

I got mine tax free from lowes. I think there's a way you can file to get a tax refund through the comptrollers office for qualifying items.

Try using Cascade Fryer Boil Out as your detergent, can buy off Amazon. Basically old school Cascade w/phosphates. Eliminates detergent residue build-up and leaves dishes streak & spot free.

I checked the Comptroller's website but it has to be refunded by the retailer or the retailer has to give a refund assignment letter.

I'll find my way to the HD tax department and get a refund.

I used to be a sales tax auditor for the Comptroller's office so I now see this as a strange challenge.

Ah, good to know. I guess I didn't really understand the process.

Emailed the HD Tax Department this morning and got a response back in less than 2 hours it should have been tax free.

They're setting up the refund which should take 10 business days so I basically got another $75 off for my trouble.
