House is in College Station. Is the a good spray on (hook to water hose) product?
Why?Sweet Kitten Feet said:
No. Never use weed and feed. Do weed treatment and fertilizer separately.

If you use a weed-and-feed product, you're either going to be too early for efficient use of the plant food or too late for the herbicide to give you the best results.

Late February and early March would be prime time for the first application of pre-emergent herbicide, but it's too early to fertilize turfgrass. It is my opinion that these two procedures should be done independently. Applications later in the spring and in late summer could theoretically be of a combined product, but some of us still prefer to do the two processes independent of one another.

I've used Scott's weed and feed for 30 years on St Augustine and have always had great results.
It's never killed anything but weeds.

Where did I say it would kill your grass?
Used Scott's Weed & Feed on my St. Augustine in College Station for years, with great results. All my neighbors do the same. Two years ago, the granola girl at Lowe's told me how terrible Scott's W&F is, and recommended a combination of regular Spring fertilizer for our area plus Image for nutsedge weeds. For reasons I still don't understand, that killed about 50% of my lawn. I've been layering in topsoil ever since and it is slowly recovering.Sweet Kitten Feet said:
