Equalizer. 3 OWB or 4IWB, depending on what I am wearing.

I think I'm finally stuck on my Hellcat with 15rd mag and Wasp optic
I'm in my vehicle for 10+ hours a day so it spends most of its time in my cup holder. For the times I'm out of my truck, I have a nice leather holster for it. OWB@ 9oclock cause I'm a chubby lefty
I have that same holster. I like it.Mr. Dubi said:
Shield Plus with red dot is my normal CC. Model 60 is what I carry for special occasions because it fits in my slacks pocket (in a sticky holster)

P30SK and sometimes a VP9SK. Today though it's a USPC40.
Which holster do you use for the VP9SK?

Eh, sorry but not for me. I am an exclusive IWB user.
I am as well. For deep concealment and carrying in non-permissive environments.DiskoTroop said:Eliminatus said:

Do you just like it? I'm curious why you are IWB exclusively?
I cannot pull off an OWB and remain concealed consistently. I have a really long torso/low hips which no one notices since I am short. But it means shirts don't cover my belt fully whenever I move or bend over or sit down. Most people don't notice a belt clip from an IWB. No way that happens with OWB.DiskoTroop said:Eliminatus said:

I hate my body type so much. It's basically a Hank Hill build with less gut but much shorter. It really limits my carry options. I just don't have a lot of real estate in my hip/groin area. For example, a G19 size compact in an AIWB will literally overlap the beginning of my dick by about a quarter inch. Which as you can imagine, is not very comfortable.
Capacity for size, serviceable trigger, available with manual safety, already setup with the correct footprint for the most popular dots for a small CCW pistol....StinkyPinky said:
Interesting to see the 365Xmacro so popular here. Sig's make good firearms. What has been the biggest attractor? I'm going to assume the high capacity? Also read that it has a very good trigger, but would assume that has minimal bearing. I'm in the market for a new CCW, so curious.....

The one that sets it apart from other slim design like the hellcat, IMO, is the whole serialized fire control unit and relatively cheap frames. I mostly carry a 365XL and have no issues concealing it AIWB under a t shirt, but like that I can get a shorter grip and 10rd mags, or now go with a longer frame, and I have 17rd mags for reloads or carry with any of the frames.
Phlster Enigma would work well for scrubs.SharkinAg said:
Smith and Wesson 642 air weight appendix carry most days primarily because I'm in scrubs. Anything heavier and it's a struggle to keep them from falling down. Had some nice ones with a belt but got too fat lol.
Planning on going back to my g43x though.
Owb during the winter is a sig p365.

New to this forum. Hunted Texas for years but never CCW. About to hit the road and want to make sure I am safe. What is the best way to detrmine what is best for me?
There is definitely creep to the trigger, it does have a nice positive reset. With the one I have, if you cannot shoot it well, it's not the gun's fault.StinkyPinky said:
Thanks for the feedback. I've heard some comment trigger doesn't have much of a wall so lacks some feel, but I wouldn't care about that. I like deliberate trigger pulls. Didn't know about the shorter grip. If its comfortable I'd probably carry this configuration more often than not.
