What is a "normal" amount of POI shift when shooting with a suppressor? My .280ai shifts about 4" when I attach my direct thread Harvester Evo. That seems like a lot.
My 6.5 creedmoor POI shift was about 3-4" low but nothing left/right. Buddy of mine and lurker on this board, had a pretty significant shift 6-8" low and then 4-5" left/right. I was using ASR mount and I believe he was direct thread.
I have a KelTec sub 2000 in .40 S&W that has so much POI shift with my Hybrid 46 (direct thread) that I can't adjust the sights enough to make up for it. No baffle strikes but makes me nervous to use it. Sad, because that big subsonic bullet is fun to shoot trash with.
