I was looking at this as a heat source for back patio. Seem pretty low maintenance other than refilling pellets. Anyone have any experience with them? Do they put out legit heat? TIA

Do you have propane piped in the wall to e patio?

If so, an overhead propane heater is much superior for heat.

All the vertical floor heaters have their heat dissipate rather quickly once you're outside of the heat dome radius.
