I would go .300 BO for one reason only and that is future ammo availability. I would not assume that WIlson will always and forever make ammo for it. See .270 WSM, .300 RUM, etc. etc. .300 Blackout is here to stay.
If I had to guess of all of the centerfire cartridges designed in the history of the world, more than half of them have been introduced in the last 20 years. Less than 10 will survive.
This is not the same as shooting a cartridge like, say, .300 Savage. That's a cartridge that was at one time established and is now obsolete but because there are millions of rifles someone will always make ammo for it. That wont happen for a lot of these rounds.
ALL that being said, the .300 BO is here to stay I think .
