Looking to buy a browning citori to be used mostly for dove hunting. Any specific model recommended? Read a little about POI. 60/40 or 50/50? Barrel length?

725 Sporting. There does not exist a better dove gun.

30 or 32 inch barrel?

Holy mackerel. People tote around 30-32"" barrels for Doves?

I feel like I'd have the bird shot and on the ground with my O/U 20ga 26" before someone could even get that out of their lap.

I don't know man, I think I would stick to a 28" if you have to have one size fits all. Otherwise, I keep my 30"+ for games and my 26" for birds.

I'm no authority by any means, though.

I'd go with the A5. I have both a 525 and a A5 and I am more satisfied with the low recoil at a lighter weight with the A5. Plus you have 3 shells to work with.

Got a 1983 Citori 4 barrel set I'll sell you. Skeet/Skeet on all of em.

Citori's are great guns and so reliable. For dove I would get a 28" barrel and 28 or 20 gauge.

For sporting clays I recommend a 12 ga Citori 725 with adjustable comb and 32" barrels.

No apology required. If it made one brain think "from the window to the walls" then my work is done.

I have a 20 gauge 725 in 28 inch length that I use for dove. Points very well for me and swings much better than a semi like the A5.
