Pigs are as smart as a dog. Never forget what that guy up in El Capitan taught his pig to do

Just be careful around those t post, a fellow close to us impaled himself on a t post, they found him the next day, he had fallen off the ladder while filling barrel with corn. Terrible death!

Never thought about needing t-post caps out near a feeder but that's a good point.

Terrible way to go.

Always use tpost covers if you're going to be anywhere near a tpost while elevated aka filling feeders. Even on Amazon they're only a buck a piece

That's a great idea! We hunt in the panhandle where wind is constantly blowing **** over! We t-post stands, feeders, everything. I just ordered a box from Amazon!

I dont have caps on the tPosts but brought them in at an angle closer to the ground

If possible, drive the t posts in at an angle tight and parallel to the legs.

If not, drive them in deep enough so that the top is almost level to the feeder leg to where you can lash them with a stainless hose clamp.

Or, buy t post covers.

Just fyi for anyone installing post. I haven't been able to find a t-post cap that fits the older heavier duty t-post.

My pig found its, found its self smart enough to hop over in the the barrier from his pen to the next pen and eat all of that pigs food and then go to the next one and eat all of that pigs food and then the next one and eat all of that pigs food and make his way back in time for when it was my turn my time to feed him he had already eaten three meals and would just be sitting there waiting for me and I would feed him and he would eat that. That's why he gained so much weight and got sifted at the fat stock show.
