I don't think we've had a thread on this topic lately.

What is community favorite for 6-10ft tower blinds?

I like Atascosa as well.

Atascosa's are the absolute best in my opinion, but there are several other good options. Bring your check book for a good blind and stand that are quality and made to last. Fiberglass blinds are a good less $$ option, but they don't last as long and are hotter than metal frame blinds in my opion.

Next best are Atascosa.

The cheaper option is a Little Buck from MB Ranch King but is smaller. Still enough room for two people though. Very happy with mine but I have it on the ground. No need for a tower where I'm at but I'm sure it would be great on one.

We have 2 Little bucks out at our place that have been in the woods for almost 3 years now.

Both of ours are on the 4' platform. Just high enough to see over the grass/brush but low enough that you still have good visibility in heavily wooded areas.

Very durable, easy to move with a small tractor, and very comfortable in most weather conditions.

I've got 2 as well. They're top notch.

Bought one of these in august. I prefer the octagon shape over the atascosa blinds. The material is interesting. Hope it stands up to the sun

Absolutely! I have 6 of the MB Ranch King Little Buck blinds, 5 of which are on the 8 ft towers and 1 on the 4 ft. From what I've seen available among the commercial blinds, the Little Buck hits the sweet spot on long term durability, maintenance free use, enough room, at a reasonable price point. I have had two of them blow over from high winds, with bent metal sheet metal abd broken glass, and it didn't do as much damage as I would've expected. The sheet metal was fairly easy to bend back into shape with a mallet and block of wood, and the windows are relatively easy to replace. They are all-metal, with nice windows and doors, and are insect proof when windows and door is closed. The polygonal shape makes it very rigid. I love them!

whatever you get, just make sure it has a front porch on it. So much easier to enter and exit a blind than crawling through a door.

This.

I once had a friend that had a blind with a trapdoor in the floor. I've never come as close to breaking my damn neck getting in/out of that stupid blind.

We have a number of Dillon blinds. Decent.

yep - we had a trap door blind on a lease I was on years ago. Hunted in that blind exactly one-time.

Agree on Texas Wildlife Supply. Best we have had on blinds and feeders. Made to last. No leaks No rust. No unwelded seams.

We have a couple Ranch Kings, a 5ft and 10ft. Like them very much. Anchored and have handled some tough wind over a couple years. Tight and no bugs.

Definitely some good recommendations posted in this thread. Another option that I discovered and really like (great combo of features and cost) is Big Dogg deer blinds. They are all aluminum and well built while easy to handle. More info on their website http://bigdoggdeerblinds.com/. I recently purchased a number of these and ran out of time setting all of them up for this season so if anyone needs a blind and has any interest, let me know…several options avail. I'm Aggieland based. Thanks

Boss Game Systems. I've hunted out of most of the ones already mentioned. While not cheap, they are at the top of my list and the best blinds I've ever owned. Plus, they're run by a good Ag (and mfg'd in BCS).

I have a 4x6 and a 6x6. Either can be used as a ground blind but I also have a 5' bolt up tower and ladder for each OR an 8' bolt up tower and ladder for the 4x6. Thanks
