How long do you want to ignore this user?
Sitting in a blind in Junction and there is large group of blue birds with gray / white bellies hammering the corn. The closest ID I can make is a Pinyon Jay but everything I can find has them as a recently sighted species in the Davis / Guadalupe mountains so this would be out of range.

Can't get a good pic from blind to include - these are definitely not common blue jays but make the same racket as a common Jay.

Do you have the Merlin app? It can help id birds by their sound/song.

I think they are woodhouse scrub jays. Didn't see the patch of gray on the shoulders initially - thanks for the help and full name They are downing their weight in corn

Yes, around a deer blind in Junction area they would be Woodhouse's Scrub Jay. There are a few Blue Jays in town but I don't see/hear them very often.
