When you go to relocate it….just kill it. Relocation has a low success rate (thanks OB for that knowledge) and you are passing the problem to another. Harsh for all. Usually illegal as well.

FYI
Tyvek is water proof. It is NOT air tight or scent proof.
I had nearly the same exact experience there, except the skunks were babies living in the pallet platform and reaching up and scratching at our duffel bags on the floor. We actually reached down with sticks to play with them for a bit. They were very cute and were just curious about what was above them. Apparently mom came back and got them after the first night.AgRyan04 said:
Two skunk stories.....
- I was at El Rancho Cima for Boy Scout camp and they had these big canvas tents (probably 8' x 8') that were set up on platforms. I remember waking up in the middle of the night and there being a skunk walking on the floor between me and my buddy on the other side of the tent. It was so hot we had left the tent flaps open to allow for some air circulation. I have never laid so still in my life.
