A few weeks ago, someone was selling their bag from Saddleback Leather. I looked them up, and was impressed with their quality. I contacted them to see if they would rebind my bible, but that's not something they do. Can anyone here point me to someone who can replace this thin leather with something that can last long after I am gone?

We used Legacy Bible Rebinders for my wife's and were very pleased with the results and turnaround time.

I've seen many a bible like yours. In fact, I have one like yours that belonged to my great grandmother. I know mine isn't in that bad of shape, but it seems like it's going to get that way pretty quickly. I'll get mine redone, and I'll be using it as a test run. If I'm pleased with the work, I'll make the leap of getting my great grandmother's redone.

Shipped it to them on 9/12. They mailed it back to me today, and should be in my hands this Friday. Turn around time seems to be less than a month. They did say that Christmas time is their busy season. I'll post pics of the finished product. I give them an A+ on communication.
