Thinking about going out there tomorrow and just see what happens. Not getting my hopes up, but just seeing if any of you other Ags had hunted out there in Chappell Hill and seen birds.

Again, I don't mind just going and being outside, so will probably check it out anyway, but thought I'd ask.

Well, we went. Shot one bird. Saw maybe 6-7 flying the whole time.

It's classic public land, with a lot of shooting for one or two birds, but everyone was really friendly and safe. Even had an instance were a dove landed in a tree, guy had a perfectly lined shot and his buddy kept yelling at him and he yells back "I'd shoot those people behind that tree you idiot!"

My buddy said he'd go back this afternoon.

Overall, if you got some time to kill, and don't mind the crowd it's not the worst public experience I've ever had. Nice property but outside of the pond there isn't a lot of things out there drawing birds.
