I'd like a blued 6CM in high grade walnut and a S&B Klassik.
Currently I use a suppressed .260 or .223.

Mine is a 30 year old Browning A Bolt medallion in .270. Gorgeous rifle with a checkered walnut stock and rosewood caps. A gift from my wife and it doesn't miss what I aim it at.

Dad's (was Granddad's) is a 1952 Win Model 70 in 30-06. He doesnt hunt anymore so when he is ready to hand it to me its mine.

Winchester Mod 70 Featherweight chambered in 25-06. Leupold VX3ii 3.5x10x40. Throwing CoreLokt 120 gr, 4 shots under a nickel at 100yds and the fifth "flier" half covered by same nickel. No smithing for those numbers. Stock out of box.

Satisfied to say the least.
"Green" is the new RED.

Tikka M695 deluxe chambeed in 270 with a Nikon monarch 14X is my favorite. I also have a Browning BAR safari II chambered in 270 with a BOSS that is fun. I recently picked up a Browning A bolt medallion chambered in 30-06 with a BOSS. I will be mounting a Leupold VX3i 4X14 soon.

Even though it is a lot of gun it has to be my 300 wthby mag. This thing is dead on and will drop anything in its tracks.

Browning A-bolt II stainless in 270. Leupold vx3HD 4.5-14x40.

Both are the pinnacle of quality, accuracy, fairly light weight, and durability, all for a reasonable price.
Agree, same gun in 280 remington that I got from my dad. Same scope as well, but changed it out recently to the Rudolph from EyeGuy.

.280 / 7mm express is a damn fine caliber. Parents shot those growing up. Dad's showed .280 and my mom's showed 7mm express

Yep, love it but a little hard to find factory ammo. It's a hot flat shooting round.

Savage 99 in either M or featherweight, with Leupold 3.5x10 scope. Deer and antelope in 250 and 243, bigger game in 284 and 308.

Rem 788 in 7mm-08, go to rifle for 20+ years. Occasionally bumped by my Rem 700 in 250 Sav.

The 788 made me quit using a Win Mod 70FW in 7-08, which I believe someone on the OB bought.

6.8spc AR but I may try to trade one for a bolt gun, likely 25-06 or similar. Something a little lighter for wife and kids

Depends on how "hoggy" we are at the time. If I think it's more likely to get into a big sounder, I take the Scar. If not, I have a Sig Cross in 6.5Creed that I love. Well.... I did.... until I got money whipped out of it earlier. Will be replacing it with another before season.

Ruger No 1 in 6mm Rem with a Leopold 3x9 is my favorite, not just because it was my dad's but because it is a great gun. The problem is that it is getting extremely hard to find 6mm Rem ammo. I really need to get my reloading bench setup and start loading my own...

I'm itching for a .357 lever action - I keep a .357 single action on my hip and it would pair nicely with it. I love old school guns. Single action revolvers, lever action rifles. There's just something so satisfying about shooting them. It speaks to my soul
found a nib Marlin .357 level in my FIL stash - still had the sales slip in it

My rifle I have used the most is a stainless model 70 classic in 7 mag with a Swarovski z5. I just had hill country put a new barrel on it in 300 wm so it will be promoted to bigger game.

Leaves me with my "new" favorite deer rifle. Mint 1949 model 70 in 30govt06 with a vintage El Paso weaver. Gorgeous rifle and don't make them like that anymore can't wait for deer season!!!

I have some oddball calibers (7mm lrm, 6.5 gap, 7mm stw), to go along with the standards. Don't really have a favorite as long as Im shooting Berger bullets that I've run a torch tip cleaner through the hollow point to verify it's open.

And you do all of this for.... white tails???

Don't get me wrong. I love it. Just want to make sure I have that correct in my head.

I've had three in my life:

Ruger M77 in .243
Browning A bolt in 7mm REM Mag
Tikka in 25-06

I've enjoyed hunting with all - but I love the 25-06.

My favorite is my left handed browning xbolt in .300 wsm that my dad got me for my 30th birthday.

Most nostalgic was an old .243 that I believe was called an Remington 600 Mohawk it was really short and had a flat bottom foregrip and kind of a vented rib on top. My dad killed his first deer with it and so did I and my brother.

I was looking for it a few months ago in my dad's safe and he said he gave it to his sister. Dad are you serious??
