Except it's much easier to overdose a 5 lbs pet than an 1200 pound cos
not very hard to overdose a 100lb ewe or nanny with levamisole drench though

Man I would love to switch to something cheaper than trifexis. Pets have gotten downright expensive.

You're telling me. I think it's $300 a year for 1 dog on trifexis. Luckily my dog does just fine on Costco dog food so I quit paying $80-$90 a bag for Purina pro plan

Mine would get the ****s if we took him off Purina pro plan but we were in a pinch recently and I grabbed some random wal mart brand and he was fine so we are making the full time switch for some savings there.

I buy simperica trio from Australia. Apparently I shouldn't be. It's like half price.

Yeah it's several hundred dollars cheaper per year now. I refuse to pay $100 for a 40lb bag of dog food.

The veterinarian industry has gotten way out of hand.
it's pretty easy to see why when people talk about their "fur babies".

JR Enterprises sells ivermectin in small, 55ml bottles. We have been dosing our animals with it for heartworms. It is by far cheaper than Heartguard. It comes with a syringe and their website has a dosing chart for dogs and cats.

For those of you that dose with ivermectin, what do you use for flra and tick control?

i get a product from the Co-op called Capshield Maxx. Its like $35 for 6 month. The guys that work there say it works good but I couldnt tell you cause my dogs are outside all the time. You can always dilute some permethrin and use a soaked rag to wipe your dog down if you notice fleas.

You want to save on dog food? Move to the country, turn your dog loose & they'll find which neighbors leave out dog food or cat food for their animals. Give them a treat same time everyday if you want them to come home.
