My inline 6 works great until it overheats and spews fluid over everything! I keep telling my wife to not drive it so fast but she never listens!

Well hey, different strokes for different folks.
So three conspiracy theorists walk into a bar.................You can't convince me that's a coincidence.

I used to use it all the time until I started buying ethanol free gas.

There's a "banana in the tailpipe" joke in here somewhere.

Best stuff I've ever seen for 2 stroke. I've recommended it several times on this and other boards.

Word of caution: don't leave it in too long - it will start to deteriorate the diaphragms.

(That's what she said. In keeping with current tone of responses.)

Best if left in carb for 3-4 days, then run it completely out. Put fresh gas/mix in and run enough to get residual out of carb.

I've brought countless weedeaters, chainsaws and lawnmowers back to life with this stuff.

Edit to add: It's best if you run all small engines completely out of gas unless you use them at least once a week. Can add a shut off valve in fuel line to make it easy and not waste fuel.

Also - ethanol free gas ALWAYS.

The ethanol in the gas is hydrophilic (it loves water) and will draw it out of the air in the tank and "attach" it into the gas.

Another fallus joke in there somewhere.

I use it 1x/ year in my mower as part of the tune up. I let it set for a half day in tank, then add a bit of fuel and run it dry before winter season. I've used it to bring a chainsaw back to life, and a weed eater.

We've found that if you are NOT using ethanol-free gas, you're better off not running the carb dry. Otherwise, completely agree with the above.

This is actually what I'm worried about. It was ran dry using the premix you buy from Home Depot. It's been dry for about 2 years, maybe more. I pulled out of my dads garage.

When I get back home later this morning, I'll test it.

Premix is ethanol free (at least all of them that I've used).

Well yesterday i was ready to call it snake oil.

Still wouldn't start after 24 hours.

This morning after 48 hours, I went to load it up to take to the small engine guy, and i said to my self I'm not going to be ******* that walks in with a chainsaw that won't start and it starts first time in shop.

Sure nuff, turned over but died in the first pull. Added more gas and killed the choke, and it started next pull with a little smoke. Had to let idle for about 3 minutes before it would run under throttle but now it sounds brand new.

Count me a believer. $7 over a $50 shop fee and two trips to town.
