I've always enjoyed the notion that these guys can apparently bend the laws of space and time and zoom throughout the universe but when they get here, dammit, that southeastern New Mexico terrain is just too perilous to be navigated without crashing.
We crash probes intentionally into planets, moons and asteroids regularly. Just sayin'.

Manned probes? Must've missed that detail.
I just saw alien technology mentioned here. Not necessarily manned. And maybe if something biological was found, maybe they weren't piloting or navigating. Could be test subjects...like our equivalent to a dog. Could be a slave species to whomever sent it.
The fact it was just after sunset had a lot to do with how bright it was. Texas was in the dark but the rocket was still illuminated by the sun at that altitude. I'm going to have to start watching the launch schedule so I can see one myself.Bregxit said:FTAG 2000 said:
