Saw this tonight just north of Corpus about 9:30. It was going pretty fast from West to East. Sorry for the bad picture quality but it's the best I could do. Couldn't find any ISS fly bys or any rocket launches before it. Figured if anyone could ID if it would be the OB.

As someone who has spent an inordinate amount of time studying extraterrestrial life (YouTube before bed) that is definitely an alien ship

Saw the same thing in SW oklahoma tonight. Was hoping it would make the OB

The cone of brighter haze in front of it seemed to almost shoot out like a shockwave and dissipate in front. Very crazy looking stuff

That's what caught my eye. I've seen plenty of shooting stars and starlink satellites but haven't seen this before.

Whenever these threads come up, or any time the idea of UFO and aliens come to mind, I feel like I need to buy more ammo and function check my rifles. It's funny to me because there is nearly a zero percent chance any of that is going to serve any purpose at all should this be an actual alien encounter. I've seen Independence Day and Signs. I know how this **** goes down.

Now if y'all will excuse me…

We saw something similar in CS out to the west at that same time. A glow in the haze.

I took this snip from that launch video, looks pretty similar to the photos in the thread, just obviously from a lot closer

Can we transition this thread to alien invasion prep?

To start, let's say these type of Aliens are invading:

It appears we'll be dealing with your standard 'Death Ray'

Best part was still the two aliens watching something and their mask started fogging up

I'm actually kind of disappointed that the advanced technology aliens are still using visible light to see stuff in the dark with their spacecraft. Wouldn't it be better to use something that's not in our visual spectrum for an invasion?

I've always enjoyed the notion that these guys can apparently bend the laws of space and time and zoom throughout the universe but when they get here, dammit, that southeastern New Mexico terrain is just too perilous to be navigated without crashing.

We crash probes intentionally into planets, moons and asteroids regularly. Just sayin'.

Manned probes? Must've missed that detail.

I just saw alien technology mentioned here. Not necessarily manned. And maybe if something biological was found, maybe they weren't piloting or navigating. Could be test subjects...like our equivalent to a dog. Could be a slave species to whomever sent it.

I had no idea it could be seen from that far away.
The fact it was just after sunset had a lot to do with how bright it was. Texas was in the dark but the rocket was still illuminated by the sun at that altitude. I'm going to have to start watching the launch schedule so I can see one myself.
