How loud is it? This might be good for my RV if not too loud.

It's fairly loud, about like a normal big generator. That is only downside to it, but I bought it for back up for the house and where it is setup is outside in the back yard and I can't hear it running inside the house.

13kw seems like overkill for an RV. Going to be more expensive, louder, and heavier than what's actually needed.

The Champion inverter above seems to be a way better option, would probably need an AC soft start. Could also get two and probably run them in parallel.

Understood, but I was thinking of making the purchase and using for both RV and house. Hopefully needing it for the house is very rare. There's no 50 amp plug on the inverter as far as I could tell.

EDIT: Just saw that I would need two of them and then a Paralink kit in order to power 50 amp RV. Pretty cool technology.

I would have bought that little generator for less than $400 but I also see $574 too.

There are some other inverter generators for under $500, just don't have any experience with them

This prime day stuff is pretty lame. All they have to do is slap a red highlighted "deal" on any product, and people will buy it. Most of the time, they just jack up the "ordinary" price, and make it look like its a great deal.

They're typically all at least good deals and you can find some really great deals but it's not going to be mind blowing. If you think they're jacking up the regular price then compare it to historical prices on sites like camelcamelcamel... I'm betting the regular price isn't being jacked up

Are you sure? The price in your cart automatically adjusts to the prime day price. At least it did for the items in my cart.

I remember what it was, because I had an "all in" price in my head of telescope + filter + tripod.

I have the exact same generator but mine is orange and a generac brand. The guts, housing, and buttons/plugs are all identical. I'm guessing the design got swapped to a different manufacturer. I get mine out about once a quarter to run some gas through it and check that it's working and it runs like a top. Never had any trouble running either of my fridges or a Toshiba 12,000 BTU portable AC unit.

Blackstone griddle down to $296 looked too good to pass up, so I got one. Seems they're well liked on this board. I know there's a cheaper Walmart unit that normally is around $300 but has a lower btu output around 38k, this one seems to be the full 60k btu, just doesn't come with a cover of any sort, I can get that down the road.

Download the Honey extension. It shows the price the item has been at over the last 30 days and let's you know if there are any digital coupons on other sites. Most of what I have bought today is significantly down.

Some do show the "MSRP" as the regular retail price and the item was already marked down before Prime day, but they typically mark it down an additional 5-10% so those are not the best deals and somewhat deceiving but I've never seen any item actually at the same price that is marked as a Prime Deal
