Anyone have breeder contacts in the College Station area? We're willing to drive if needed.

We had to put down our dachshund of 16 years just before Christmas 2021. We chose to wait a year before looking for our next family dog. We decided that our next dog would be a medium to large breed. Once we started looking, it's been nothing but frustration with all the shelters and rescues in the area . We're getting pretty fed up with our search and we're opening up our search to breeders.

He is an awesome dog. Not much of a hunter or retriever, but great with the kids and that is all I really wanted. Super chill and lazy, just the way I wanted. Their goldens are more cream colored, if that matters.

We just had a litter of 2 female Goldens this weekend.

Gober Goldens and JHW Ranch Goldens in Gober (Bonham area). Both breeders are family and use the same bloodlines. My two have different parents but the same grandparents.

Great dogs. Mine are both 4-5 years old and have absolutely zero genetic, skin, allergy, etc. issues and are both very athletic. Trained them to hunt myself and it came pretty naturally for both of them, and they are not advertised/bred as hunting dogs. Paid just under 1,000 each and got full AKC breeding rights (male at stud if anyones looking), but that has likely changed a bit since 2018. Would highly suggest them. i think they can be found on Facebook.

Look up Cali's Golden Nuggets on FB. We got our dog Mica from them. She is a great dog. She is a little smaller than most Golden Retrievers, which we like. She is about 55 lbs. She is our third golden.

Bayareapetadoptions.org just posted an AKC registered 8 month old on their facebook. It isn't on their website yet. Located south of Houston near Kemah in San Leon TX
