You might see if the Beretta CX4 is still available in .45acp. These are exceptionally reliable carbines that are only about 30 inches long. Only downside for your situation is that they do not come threaded. 9mm versions run about $699-$799 new. Don't know what a .45 version would run, or if you can even get a new one.

TNW Aero Survival Rifle is a take-down carbine that comes in .45acp. I can't tell you anything about them. I believe that they use Glock mags, so many consider that a plus. Probably don't come threaded either, but that isn't that hard to remedy.

They discontinued the CX4 in 45 ACP. The 45 ACP mags didn't hold enough rounds to justify continuing it, IMHO. Gun is only made in 9mm now.

I had a LWRC SMG 45 for a while. I loved it, despite what you hear on the internet mine ran flawlessly and was accurate enough for me: I didn't have any flyers.

Sold it as I wanted to consolidate calibers and it was my only 45. Plus I would have bought a dedicated suppressor for it if I kept it. But it was a great gun.

I have an 8" upper from this guy and run it suppressed full time. Even with the short barrel, shooting .45 suppressed sounds like a nail gun.

Caveat: I run my upper on a dedicated lower that uses grease gun mags. I have not tried their mag well adapter and mags.

I had an Extar EP9 and it was a nice gun, would think the EP45 would be similar in performance, just need to find one

I have a banshee with 10MM thats got a can and SBR stamp inbound with all the ATF bs on pistol stocks.

It's a great firearm.

I know you are being sarcastic but I know a guy with one in .45 and he said he slays hogs with it.

I actually own one in 9mm. Paid $249 for it and while it is ugly as sin, it is a tack driver which surprised me as I was not expecting much from it.

Other than a 6 pound trigger and stock magazine capacity of the Hi-Point their carbine is pretty legit. Hard to beat for under $300 and reliable as heck.

Shot a full auto UMP before. Did not care for it. Even in semi, it had an inordinate amount of recoil.

The B&T seems a bit high, if it's just a normal blow back.

Anyone know of an MP5 clone in 10MM?
