My son is trying to raise a little money to offset travel expenses for his 13U baseball team (Dripping Springs), who will be traveling to Branson, MO this summer for a week long tournament.

We have some great prizes. Each item is a unique raffle drawing with different entry amounts.
The 84" TV can also be redeemed for a Costco Giftcard. I think even the mower can be redeemed for store credit, I just dont know the value you would get (not full msrp, but still a good amount).

We can ship everything except the mower.

Drawing is May 15th.

While there is no limit on the entries, I do feel like the chances to win something are pretty good.

Rumor has it a fellow TexAg poster won the mower. I did cross post on Golf forum as well, so not sure if its a Ober or not.

I was sitting at my sister's house Sunday afternoon for Mother's Day, with the whole family over, and overheard my brother-in-law talk about how his mower finally gave out. He didn't know what he was going to do, and he and my sister aren't exactly in a position to spend money. They live in Georgetown and on a few acres. Grass was out of control.

Back story is my BIL has been a rock in the family, especially when it came to fixing cars and well just about anything else you could think of that saved us more money than I care to think about. He's spent so much time helping me and my mother out over the last 25 years, as my dad past of lung cancer when I was three. He's been that father figure for me and my nieces and nephews. Hardest blue collar working SOB I know.

I got to reading through threads on the OB after dinner on Sunday, and came across the fundraiser. It was divine timing as it couldn't had been more than 30 mins after my discussion with my BIL.

I showed it to him and said I buying 2 tickets, and if I win it's yours. He of course smirked at me and said, "that would be awesome!"

Well I kid you not I was driving into work this AM and got the text message I had been randomly drawn as the winner. I about drove into the guard rails on 35 trying to RE-read the text. I couldn't believe it.

Call it luck, or divine intervention, but I can tell you no other person I know will take better care of a machine and get the most out of it. I think my BIL almost cried on the phone. Just kidding. He's way to much of a hard a** for that, but he was damn sure thankful.
