It's been many years and Ike's small engine was a great repair place. I have a STIHL heavy brush cutter that I cannot get running well. Is this still a good place in BCS for repairs?
Buy a cheap carb on amazon, change the fuel, put in a new plug, check the air filter, etc. All super easy stuff, I bet it works.mhnatt said:

This is the way. $20 or so for a new carb, replace spark plug, air filter, gas filter, and clean the spark arrestor. Super easy. You can do this yourself. If you have trouble, there are numerous youtube videos that will walk you through it.DuncanLEO said:Buy a cheap carb on amazon, change the fuel, put in a new plug, check the air filter, etc. All super easy stuff, I bet it works.mhnatt said:

Thanks. I'd sure like to, but I cannot for the life of me find a carburetor for the Stihl FS 560 C (their largest brush cutter model). Plenty of carbs for the smaller models but not this one. Not sure why.ought1ag said:so much this......we just had an echo weedeater that wouldnt crank that was quoted $59 for parts and labor would be TBA......$12 later and a package from amazon had it up and running again.DuncanLEO said:Buy a cheap carb on amazon, change the fuel, put in a new plug, check the air filter, etc. All super easy stuff, I bet it works.mhnatt said:
