The cheapest I can find it anywhere else is $1300 but PSA has it for $999.99. Anyone know anything about this particular gun? Has great reviews and seems like an unbelievable deal.

It's the cheapest great pistol for target competition. I didn't see if it said it was red dot ready. If you want a red dot you should get one cut for it because it costs a lot to mill one for a red dot.

To get a better target competition pistol, you would need to go up to a STI Staccoto, with their XC being the best or an Atlas Gun Works offering. These are $7,000 pistols. Atlas takes 4-6 months to make your gun but they are outstanding.

The CZ you picked is heavy. But all competition pistols are heavy. They aren't carry guns and certainly aren't concealed carry guns.

CZ's are fantastic pistols.

In the Q&A it states not optics ready.

That's a great deal for an awesome pistol!

I have a CZ TS2 Orange but rented/shot a Shadow 2 to check one out. It was a great shooter and nice factory trigger. Get some Cajun Gun works parts and it will be even better.

CZs have been on a tear of sales lately. If any of y'all are even a little curious about them, just go and impulse buy one. I am a complete convert now and certified CZ fanboi. This is a fantastic price on a fantastic handgun. And then get a P-01. Then just keeping adding to the collection.

I'm also a CZ fan, currently shoot a Tactical Sports Orange in USPSA Limited. It's right there with my custom Les Baer 1911 Monolith HW as my favorite pistol to shoot.
My Glock, Springfield, Walther, Sig, FN, S&W, etc pistols combined get about 20% of the trigger time as the TSO since I got it a few yrs back

Eyeguy forced me to buy a few. Then a few more. Pretty sure that's how it went down. Great shooting and have turned several buddies onto them as well.

I don't own any CZ-75s or Shadows, but I will say that both CZ-97Bs that I have are the best shooting pistols I've owned.

The Shadow 2 is a fantastic shooting pistol.

Wouldnt buy one as a carry gun, but if you want a competition pistol this is a good deal.

Son want's a pistol but isn't 21. Birthday is in June but he'll be at Marine Corps OCS (PLC) this summer.

I'm going to buy him a CZ and give it to him when he gets home from OCS in August. He was looking at some cheaper stuff b/c he's broke (and got his moms hate to spend money gene).

Be careful. CZ's tend to multiply. Then one day you look up and you've got a 3D printed scorpion on the way.
