Toying with the idea of purchasing an inflatable fishing SUP for use in the Florida Panhandle surf during calmer days. Primarily would be chasing redfish and jacks.

Any recommendations on a mid-tier brand/model?

Not sure if they are mid-tier or not, but these guys have lots of models with a lot of accessories to make fishing friendly. https://www.boteboard.com/

Those motorized skiffs look bad arse.

Thanks! Bote was where I started my looking but didn't know if anyone had found some cheaper alternatives.

Will only be using 4-5 times a year between trips to Florida panhandle and Hill Country rivers.

Have that covered for the Texas coast with a beavertail mosquito.

Just my $0.02 but I think some of the lower budget piling skiffs (Ankona, south Dade skiffs, etc) would be a better investment than a lot of these "solo skiff" type boats.

But then you may have to take someone with you.

You can take a look here and see if any of those fit your budget/needs. https://www.standuppaddleboardsreview.com/best-fishing-sup/ There are even some cheap ones sold on Amazon guess it all depends on how much you want to spend.

My hat's off to ya if you can stand up on one in any kind of wake, let alone fish!

I have this Bote Package and added a stick it pin. It works great when I don't feel like wading or I want to fish in soft mud areas. My fishing buds gave me a hard time, but I had drinks, something to stand on and piss, and they didn't mind so much when I'd paddle back to the boat 300 yards away.

I definitely recommend the 12v high pressure inflator to go with it

Thanks all. Looks like Bote is probably the way to go.
