$0-$50 of it may be disposal
$300-$350 is likely trucking
Make sure they know their equipment also. Loading trucks efficiently depending on turnaround time is important. Drivers don't want to wait and they also don't want this guy loading them uneven or banging into the side of their trucks.Apache said:Quote:

Don't forget the skid steer & operator loading the trucks.
Out on 306 there is that guy with the HUGE loader and he ahs been placing spoils on his property for over 5 years. Drop by there and see if he needs/wants them. Honestly $350 a load for load out and haul off isn't Terrible in these times.billyjack2009 said:

We've blown our budget enough already! And there's not enough water out there for something like this!
Did that include them loading it? Or did you have other equipment onsite doing the loading? A huge chunk of the variability in price will be based on how far they are having to truck it and whether they are loading it (and have to bring in their own equipment) or not. That is why I recommended Bobby Georg. He has a yard down off of Ammann Road east of 3351 and projects all over the Bulverde area, so hopefully he has equipment close by and a place to use the material a short distance away.62strat said:
may not help you directly, but just for reference, at work I deal with dirt subs in import/export all the time, on a large scale.
Most recent job had 3,900cy export of undesirable dirt, and it was $20/yd.
Just to give you reference of a floor price anyway.
That price is turn key (they are the earthwork subcontractor.. no one else is touching dirt other than electrician/plumber and utility subs digging their trenches). Distance is a huge factor of course.txags92 said:Did that include them loading it? Or did you have other equipment onsite doing the loading?
