One thing OP to understand is capacity, cartridge selection, and ammo selection are vastly overrated. It goes like this.
1. will you carry it.
2. is it reliable
3. can you shoot it accurately.
4. is it a .380 or bigger in a pistol or .32 mag or bigger in a revolver.
Then there is a bunch of wide open space on the page.
Then you have capacity and ammo/cartridge selection.
A lot of times you will read these big arguments about capacity and ammo selection being really important. AND THEY ARE. But it is a given that the first four have been satisfied.
One of my carry guns holds six and the other 13+1. I don't really choose one over the other based on capacity. They both satisfy the first four and I can shoot the hell out of both of them. It mostly depends on what I am wearing
Last, when choosing ammo, it goes in this order.
1. Is it reliable
2. Is it accurate out of your gun
3. Is it a hollow point or in a revolver a powerful enough wadcutter
then there is a little space in the page
4. Does it penetrate.
then there is a bit more space in the page
5. Does it expand.
