Anyone tried this ARMOTECH or any of the other magnetic pistol mounts? Been looking for an easy access mount for the truck center console and like the way this one covers the trigger. Website has the Nigerian Prince vibe.....

I don't have this specific one but I do have magnetic mounts in my safe for my pistols. I mounted the magnets to the bottom of a shelf so I can hang some of my pistols down from the back plate. I tried to hang them from the slide but there ended up being some scuff marks. The scuffs buff out easily with a wipe though.

Is that considered holstered in a vehicle?

Don't think so, for what that's worth.... There is also the issue of it needing to be "concealed" but easily accessible.

I am just looking for something super simple to use to mount on the side of my center console.
1) No matter where a carry holster is located on my body, it is going to be an awkward slow obvious draw from the driving position..
2) The more quick & easy to use the more likely I will do it every time.

I use the JM4 Tactical Magnetic Leather Holster which I can hook over a little document slot on the side of my console. Its just not in the best spot.

Still haven't figured out how to have it "concealed" where its not obvious looking in the window or when to door is open. Sometimes drape a small towel over it just looks janky......
