Any popular wall mounted shotgun locks out there?

I remember seeing one a while back on Amazon, but can't find it anymore. It had pin code access via push buttons (not digital) and the lock only covered the trigger/receiver. fingerprint or code access is fine.

The 590 will be for mah wiiiiiiiife. Our bump in the night plan is based on house layout. Kids bedrooms by us. Wife will get kids barricaded in main bedroom. I will utilize Home Alone defense. Paint cans, Christmas balls, nails, torches, etc. You know how it be. If I fall in glorious battle (til Valhalla rip) she will raise the 590 like Liono in Thundercats and blast them fools if they get to the main br.

Included all that in case any tacti bros doubt our weapon of choice.

Maybe better forgo the lock. That sounds like a lot to keep in order.

I have used a Shot Locker for a number of years. It keeps my bear gun safe and ready in our bedroom. I have it mounted behind the door, with a can of spray above it. When the door is open (which is 99% of the time), it is invisible. If the wife and kids need to retreat into the room, they close and lock the door and the gun is right there.

I like the Shot Locker, it works flawlessly and is easy and fast to open. No batteries to keep up with. The gun is stored with the bolt open, and it hangs on a little bar that goes in the breach area. Pull the gun out, rack the slide forward, and you are ready to roll.

A lock slows down your ability to rack frantically as a warning before firing two warning blasts in the air from your balcony.

Your funeral

No, you are looking at this all wrong.
Imagine this:

You are a bad guy, sneaking into the home of some poor sap in the middle of the night. You are quietly grabbing things and putting them in your backpack when you hear the soft beep of a biometric reader or the clicks of a keypad. You freeze in your tracks (which prevents you from stealing more), straining to see if you heard what you think you heard. Then... the unmistakable creak of a gun safe door that hasn't been operated in several years. It's like a horror movie, your heart races, cold sweat runs down your face, and you slowly turn to see if anyone is behind you.

Then, from down the hall, you hear the one thing that burglars dread the most- CHICK-CHICK- a shotgun being racked!!! Even though you have a pair of Glocks with switches on your person, fighting never even crosses your mind as uncontrollable fear grips you. All you can do is RUN!

Adrenaline floods your muscles and your lungs strain for air as you sprint for the window that you used to gain entry. You drop the backpack with your loot as you dive through the window, cutting yourself open on a shard of glass on the way out. As you tear across the yard in the dark, you trip on a kid's toy and fall flat on your face. BOOM - BOOM. You hear the fabled dual blasts, and you turn around, tears pouring down your face, and see the homeowner standing on their balcony pointing that boom-stick straight up in the air, not saying a word. You know this was your lucky night, you barely escaped with your life.

You call all your hood rat friends, giving them the address and warning them never to go in that neighborhood. You then have to go to the hospital to get stitches for your cut on the window, and are so riddled with guilt that you confess to the whole thing and are peacefully arrested at the hospital, turning in your evil guns in the process.

Home Alone defense?

He was a kid at home alone; he could have called 911 at any time and been helped.
No, he hunted those men and recorded it. He enjoyed it.

Make the call and get his parents indicted for abandoning a child, Kevin took care of business.

Sets up a rather dark sequel. That was the start of the path which lead him to signing up, then becoming a CIA hit man, or one for the cartels - or both.

He comes home from the 90s in Columbia/Ecuador/Three corners, per se - by the end, he's no longer sure who he's really working for, or what their actual interests and intentions are.

Burned out, disillusioned about DC and the commitment the higher ups have to the Republic, he comes home has to face being "Home Alone," completely isolated from society, having lost all connection to a family he saw a few weeks every other year, and struggling with trying to regain a sense of his own humanity.

Not a fan of keeping the main weapon for home defense locked up while you're there, but I can see the need if you are away or there are kids around.
