I have a golden retriever that tore her TPLO. She is a service animal so it is effecting her ability to work. There are two in Houston that do the surgery but price is super high. I am looking for a vet near Houston (Cypress, Woodlands, Conroe, CS, etc.) but outside of Houston in order to get cost down. Does anyone know of one?

These folks did my dog's knee last year. They are a traveling surgical group, and their area appears to be primarily North Texas, but maybe they make trips to Houston.

Also, TPLO is the procedure. Assuming your dog tore its ACL.

Dr Jason McFarland on Waller has done a considerable number of TPLO surgeries but full disclosure-he is not a board certified surgeon, thus the bit lower price.

Texas A&M small animal hospital did my yellow lab about 10 years ago. My local vet referred me to them and they took the case. That may not be the case today.

You want a board certified surgeon for a service dog. Tplo is expensive, sorry.
