I have the same. Great rifle, shoots straight, will eat any ammo. I traded for mine. The previous owner, a friend of mine, had replaced the wood stock with a composite. It is a pig killing machine.


I'd like to get a nice wood stock SKS one of these days. I have many other guns on my wish list ahead of it though.

Check out the LAR-47 from Rock River, AR platform but designed from the beginning as a complete gun to accept AK magazines and fire the x39 round. I've had zero issues with it and it eats any crappy round you put in it

Why is that you think? I have had no issues at all with mine, lots of rounds through it. I think I bought it in 2014 or 2015.

Anyway, works great for me but isn't a pure AK platform for sure.

Didnt sell enough of them.

The 556 wasn't a true Swiss 55X gun, and wasn't an AR either so demand was never super high.

I have been wanting to put a KS47 lower on my BRN 180. I think that would give you the best of both worlds.
The Brn180 is PWS built so you know it's a tank!

I was impressed with the Ruger American Ranch in that caliber. Not too expensive either.
