I thought the ELD-X was more comparable to the AMAX than the ELD-M. Could be wrong though.schmellba99 said:
ELD-M is exactly the same as the A-MAX, but with the newer heat shield tip. It has the interlock core, but don't think it is a bonded bullet. Little bit smaller expansion pocket than SSTs.
For the first 10 rounds, I would fire one round and clean the barrel with patches until clean. After the first 10, I would fire two rounds and clean, firing 3 sets. Then I fired the last four of a 20 round box all at once and cleaned again. I am pretty sure that is the procedure that Howa asks for.TheVarian said:
