How long do you want to ignore this user?
So I'd really like to dip my toe in the can game but I want something that can be used more. I saw this one and it claims to work 9mm, .223, .308 and many more. All of those are what I shoot.

Any thoughts/opinions/Experiences?

I don't have one, but I view it as a jack of all and master of none. You have to figure out what's important to you, size, weight, accuracy, or sound suppression. Once you decide, what's most important, then you can narrow your search.

i have one, but keep it on a .45-70. Its a big can to put on a 9mm but would do the trick.

my 2 cents, just bite the bullet, get a 45 can, a 30 cal can, and a 22 cal can.

If you don't want to jump that far, a 30 cal can cover most all of your rifles, then get a 45 cal can you can use on your other pistols.

Ditto. I have a couple 46 Hybrids and use them exclusively on big bores only (450 Bushmaster and 45/70) but they make good backups for smaller bores which I normally run Omega 300's on.

Look at the Nomad. It's a 30 cal can. Can work on anything from 5.56 to 300 win mag.

I have the regular Hybrid 46, not the M version. Try to figure out what you want to shoot it on and add up the cost of buying all of the accessories. They are not cheap and I've probably spent at least what my can cost if not more on accessories. When you do buy accessories, either wait for SiCo to have a sale or buy them on ebay/gunbroker(to a lesser extent). With the latter two, you're usually not going to find much outside of 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 ASR mounts and the mounts themselves. Joe Bob's has some good deals too. But you're still talking about a minimum of $70 shipped for each muzzle device.

It actually works really well on everything I've shot it on. It's a little on the large side, but the weight isn't too bad. It's gigantic on a 9mm pistol, but usable. It is also hard to get a 9mm to cycle anything but 115s.

I own the regular 46, I am very happy with it. Plan on at least 100.00 on each weapon you want to use it on for a quick mount device plus 150ish for the adaptor for the can.

I do not use it on pistols as I think its on the large size but it for sure will work.

It makes my .458 Socom and 45-70 a blast to shoot. Works awesome on my Blkout as well.
I will be taking it in a few weeks to Idaho to use on my 30-06 for an elk hunt.

Overall its a great can. I bought it for the same reasons. Versatility. Be warned though it will not be your only can. Once you shoot suppressed you wont want to shoot without it again. I own 3 cans now.

You own a car's worth of silencers. I guess good thing that's your addiction and not meth or you'd be a goner

Get something else for the 9mm, but is ideal for the other calibers. Get you a Silencerco muzzle brake from Eye Guy.

I bought a Dead Air Ghost for the same reason, versatility. It's mainly for 45, but can allegedly handle all pistol calibers up to 300 blk. I bought 22 lr and 300 blk adapters and it definitely makes a difference, but not as much as a designated, single caliber can will.

This is outstanding advice.

Theres a can for every niche. Figure out what yours is, use pewscience to filter for what you want, buy the best can to fit your needs.

I'm up to 9 and wish I had gotten a few more earlier in life. I'm a big fan of caliber specific cans if you have the means and patience

Yes, they have like 5 different end caps. My 243 sounds like a 17 now. Haven't had a chance to shoot any 5.56 yet. Buddy of mine has it on his 300 aac and can't get over how quiet it is.

I sometimes wish I would have done a bit more research and gotten a nomad, as it could do 90% of what my jail cans will be able to, and suppress one that my incoming cans cannot (12" Grendel).

As it stands I'll probably pick up a nomad at some point and use it instead of the R9 on my 308, and suppress the Grendel w/ it

It's not just the amount of cash he probably has in the cans, but also the fact that he's not really sure how many he has. 17? 18? Who knows?

I've got 4 now and I'm probably done until I get to put what I have to more use. Agree with those who've said, .30 cal, .22 and .45 calibers. They'll cover you for most regular peoples stockpiles.
