Came out to the ranch cabin and I'm assuming all this rain drove the local scorpions to the cabin. We killed three. Needless to say the wife is not a happy camper. What's the best killer to spray indoors and out. Thanks!

We sprayed demon and bifen XTS I believe and it killed them. It also killed centipedes

Mix it at a 3/4oz/gallon of water ratio and spray the yard, edge of the exterior of your house and baseboards.

Been doing it 5 years at my house. Infested with scorpions during construction and practically nothing since then doing this. I buy it by the gallon (~$60) from domyown.com and got rid of the exterminator (~$300/year) I used because this is all it took and he didn't spray the yard.

People will say buy Demon, but it leaves a white residue and you shouldn't spray it indoors. Bifen doesn't and kills everything. Ants, crickets, scorpions, possums, skunks… maybe not the last two, but every other insect in Texas.

We have been using Talstar P, (same as the Bifen IT suggested above) alternating with Demand CS at our house in S.E. AZ. Seems to work just fine, since we have no issues at all. Can highly recommend.

I lived in the arizona desert (my backyard was the desert as I had no rear neighbors). Bark scorpion and Sonoran giant desert centipede hotbed.

I used onslaught fastcap. Like the other ones listed it can knock down a scorpion as long as you apply it correctly three feet up 5 ft out around the house and spray as needed in yard. This chemical is made specifically so that it does not degrade from the desert heat

Not a single scorpion ever entered our house.

Where we are, I use Demon WP. You have to keep up with it. My cat will find them at night and kill them. We also have had them scurry across us in bed. I mean, you kinda get used to creepy crawlies when you live in a house that is not as tight as a modern one. It's part of the charm.

Onslaught Fast Cap. Best thing for scorpions. I've used it for years on scorpions and brown recluse spiders.

Not sure I'll ever get used to creepy crawlers. Slept in dirt holes all over Iraq. Still don't want anything to do with it.

If you don't want to spray, you can put down Bifen granular. This stuff works really well around the house and you water it in. I feel it gives long lasting protection.

That's what we use at our house. I guess if we had an infestation I'd go with the spray but we only see a couple a year. I just hate killing all the good bugs along with the bad. (We have Monarch waypoint, so lots of butterflies and hummingbirds around.).

We usually use a shampoo bottle, because they always seem to show up in the bottom of the tub about 5 minutes into a shower.

Got stung a few times while sleeping last year. Really sucked. That's all I have to add, screw these ****ers.

If you do not like spraying poison in and around the house, use Catchmaster mouse and insect glue boards. I have been using for years at a weekend place. I generally use about 12 troughout the house and pick them up when we are there on the weekend. If you have pets or small children, poison might be better.

Spray Demon or for the non toxic option lay out diatomaceous earth along your wall lines, attic, between the walls etc.
