Anybody else have sighting/s of Canada geese in the shadow of Kyle Field during heat of the summer?
These got up from a small stock tank on my place just south of Iola this afternoon.

These are a huge nuisance in the Bay Area because they invade green space and crap all over the public parks and public areas.

The communities here are torn because some people want to bring in goose exterminators but others want to protect the animals.

They're cool looking birds but they are very annoying

Thanks for that info. I apologize for not being more clear in my OP. I was hoping to hear of other sightings to get an idea of their range or territory.
This was a group of 7 adults.

I am betting these are the ones that are usually out elmo weedon road. They usually jump from a a few large ponds/lakes out that way. Not aure where they originated from. See them every so often over house. Seen them in fields every once in a while

We have a couple that come to our property in Millican every year. Last time I saw them walking the pasture, it looked like they had 3 newborns following them.

Goose crap gets everywhere. Imagine 4 dogs taking 5 daily dumps in your back yard and it just piles up all over the grass. That's what geese offer. A bunch of crap everywhere. Hate them.

Some guy in Waller County started a resident greater Canada goose flock about twenty years ago and they have branched out.
