I've had mine repaired (I think they actually just replace them) three times over the years. First two times i just had to pay processing fee or something. A few months ago, nada.

I just keep buying new pairs from Woot. I think I have 4 or 5 now.

I finally got around to submitting a warranty claim and they approved it rather quickly.

There was a poster up-thread that said they told him that they no longer made/carried the Fathom model...and that is what I have.

They responded to me that they didn't have my grey 580G lenses available and provided some other lens colors/models for me to choose from. They did have a Fathom in Blue Glass, so that is what I chose. I was surprised at this route as I seem to recall that one of my earlier claims (this is my 2nd or 3rd claim) they just swapped my lenses into a new pair of frames.

Just receive my replacement pair today - took about 3 weeks start to finish with a week of that being delay on my part for being out of town.

I had two pair where the nose piece had come off and the ear pieces were falling apart. Probably 10 year old glasses. Anyway, I decided before a recent trip to see about a warranty replacement. Went through the process with Luxotica, took photos of existing glasses, uploaded and received a notice they would be covered. Sent them in with labels from Luxotica and received two new pairs within a week. VERY pleased with the outcome, obviously, but surprised I didn't have to pay shipping or anything else as had been the case previously.

Just replaced a pair of tuna alley tortoise on green lens for free about 5-6 years after purchase for issue with rubber components. And same for my son. So still 100% in my book.

Guess I'll submit a warranty claim on my current pair then. Rubber all started coming loose during a project in Egypt.

Were the new ones the same size as your older pair?

I sent a pair of tuna alleys back a few months ago and they replaced them for free but the new ones are much more snug on my head that my older ones (I have two pairs)

Just submitted a warranty claim for failing rubber on a pair of tuna alley's bought in february of 21. I'll se what happens.

Heard back this morning, replacing with a free pair with no hassle.

The poster who said that about the $199 new pair later said he busted the lenses by sitting on his Costas.

Submitted Monday for a pair of Slack Tides from 2017 with the nose pieces falling apart, got my free replacement email/instructions today.

Shipping my Brines off today for free replacement.

Still as good as advertised. I have a pair that I bought at least 8 years ago that have lost the nose pieces and the ear pads are tearing. Full replacement on the way at no charge. I have not thought about them in a couple of years and found them in the back of my desk drawer. This thread got me thinking about them and seeing if the warranty still worked!

No kidding, my Costa's are at least 8 years old, have been through hell and back and are falling apart. Submitted a warranty claim yesterday with no receipt or proof of purchase and they are sending me a new pair for free.

I have some original 580Gs from 2009.

They are falling apart. I'm really interested in what they'll do with those.

Anything that old will have a lifetime warranty. I bet you'll get a free pair and it takes about three minutes to make a claim, all online.

I already filled it all out just waiting to see what they say.

Mine are so old the only thing you can read on the ear pieces is COSTA.

Just wanted to note that I had a pair of Brines from 2015ish that had rubber coming off the ear pieces and didnt have a recipt for them. Submitted a claim at the beginning of the week and already approved, they dont do silver mirror in them anymore so they had me select a new pair from several options, I ended up getting the same Brines but with green mirror now. Excellent service on a couple of claims with them now, so not sure what the people who say it isnt the same are doing wrong.

Discontinued these so I got to pick from about 6 other styles and lenses. Went with tuna alley blue mirror.

This reminds me. I need to send them my 580 Fathoms for a frame repair.
