Any suggestions for a motorized kids car? Got a 4&2 year old so can't be fast but has anyone had a good results with a certain brand?

Get the one with longest battery life.

Pick up one on Marketplace, don't worry if it has a battery or not.

If you have any electric tools (Ryobi, etc) buy a receptacle on Amazon, wire it up, and just use them.

You'll thank me later.

Jumping the shark here, but if you're looking for bad ideas my 5 y/o started riding his 50cc Kawasaki quad at 3.5. To convince mama, with the throttle limit screw, it's slower than his 12v John Deere.

This guy knows what he is talking about. The powerwheels batteries are expensive and take forever to charge. Go to tractor supply and get some cheap batteries. Watch YouTube on rewiring if you need to. When they get bigger go up in size on battery. Did the same thing and when our kids were older I sold the powerwheel jeep on here. The kids loved the extra power once they got a little older.

Peg Perego is the best brand.

We have the 12V JD Gator and it's still a winner after 2+ years. My 6 year old has the 24V camo one now.

Can't recommend enough. Big enough both of the kids ride together.

My neighbors kid has had one of these for about 5 years and he drives it almost every day. He recently left and took it to college with him. I think it's a Prius.

12v powerwheels with a 20v tool battery of your choice. It's epic

Get them each a ziggle if you have some concrete areas. No batteries, kids actually propel them, and my 5&3 year old love theirs.

I use an old craftsman c3 19.2V. It'll launch and spin the tires.

If the kid's car has all plastic wheels, you can cut an old bicycle tire and attach it around the wheels for better grip with some screws. Makes a big difference in performance.

I have a PowerWheels Jeep Hurricane that I swapped the controller and motor in and wired to run on 2 24V Kobalt batteries. The 24V ESC controller upgrade is widely available at a few online stores.

Also a Mototec MudMonster that I swapped the 4 SLA batteries for a 48V lithium pack in. The Mototec you would probably want to wait a couple years on. My 6 year old does pretty well with it, but managed to ping the garage door when he momentarily forgot that braking exists.

Did this as well, huge difference. Also put about 20 lbs of sand in the rear for better traction on grass.

I got my 5 year old a Razor Dirt Quad and it's plenty fast for a smaller kid, she rolled it a couple times w/ her 3 yo sister on it trying to turn really tight actually. Good quality, metal frame w/ pneumatic tires and you can put a speed limiter on pretty easily.

I saw a small kid on a Big Toys Green Country brand ride on and it was flying around.

Needs a new battery now so I'll probably wire up a dewalt connection and possibly double the batteries up.

The smaller 24v is on the left and they're bigger 36v on the right.

Bought 3 non running cars off Marketplace for $100. Got 2 running and used the other for parts

The one my 3 yr old likes the best is the Peg Perego JD Gator. But she only likes it with "the fast battery!"

I wired it to work with both the huge battery it comes with and for a Milwaukee 18v 5.0. It rips with the Milwaukee and lasts longer then you think kit would.

Dangit, a Rigid battery adapter just found it's way into my Amazon cart. The rubber tire idea is genius. The tires spinning on grass was my biggest beef with his JD.

Peg Perego John Deere tractor with the trailer. Cut off the battery connector and put on the dewalt 20v adapter. Enjoy the clown show after that.

Amazon brought the adapter today. Wow!!! The 50cc quad is way safer. At least we already have proper head gear.
