Tearing up my lawn. Any ideas on how to get rid of them? I live in town so shooting them probably wouldn't fly

Kill what they're digging for. They love grubs, see if you have them and treat to kill.

If they are bedding down in your bushes you can call animal control and they will bring out a trap for you. I got one trapped that way. I also had some success sprinkling mothballs around where they were bedding down. If they aren't sleeping on your property you probably have to eliminate their food source (most likely grubs).

I will verify that the wooden traps work extremely well. We have two of them on a property and have caught close to 60 armadillos in the last couple of years. I make the same traps here in College Station if you are interested. $130 Email me at shannons68@msn.com if you would like one.

We have two different sets of babies prowling a few lawns in our neighborhood. So far well away from mine so no concern. They had no fear of the dogs the other evening when we were walking by.

Get a dog like mine. Half pit, half boxer. He hates armadillos. Bites right through their back. Then leaves them on the back porch with blood and guts everywhere.
