For those that are fans of the Jalepeno Cheddar Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich at Whataburger, don't make an effort to go get one. They no longer sell the Jalepeno Cheddar Biscuit.

I'll kick the crust of the drying pile of cow poo.

Just another nail in the Whataburger coffin on its way to mediocrity. I grew up on Whataburger, used to be my go to fast food burger. At least around here, it ain't what it used to be. The product, service and consistency has taken a big hit and I rarely eat there nowadays.

I'm sure they'll be fine, though. Plenty of folks moving in that won't know the difference.

That's extremely dumb. Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit with Honey Butter Chicken is the only reason I ever go to Whataburger. They've just lost a reliable customer.

You could build a better fast food joint around things that used to be on Whataburger's menu.

I posted this as a PSA, but the more I think about it, we were a weekly customer as a family and breakfast is 75% of why we stop there. Nothing to differentiate them from other options now.

I am not claiming they have lost me as a customer completely. I may get faced with the choice of Whataburger or convenience store sushi. THEN Whataburger is a no-brainer.

This. However, I agree the consistency among stores has fallen off. Thinking that has more to do with the difficulty in hiring than Chicago private equity ownership. Big shoutout to our dumbass government for paying people more not to work than they ever actually earned.

Whataburger has really been disappointing the last few times I've gone. It's really taken a step down the last couple years it seems.

The new spicy honey butter chicken biscuit is dynamite though.

My wife sent me a TikTok of a mom that ordered an avocado burger with ONLY cheese because her small child only eats that from Whataburger and she was unaware. I am sure it was a VERY expensive grilled cheese but she proved a point I guess

That's a shame. The jalapeño cheddar biscuit was a solid upgrade. Their standard biscuits are still a cut above anything else I've had, but that was a major differentiator between Whataburger and other options.

Still miss the A1 thick and hearty burger. That was damn good one.
And my breakfast when we go was a jalapeño cheddar sausage biscuit. Really disappointing.

Whataburger has been tanking last coupla years or so. Bad.

It went from good food with good service to ok food with meh service to not good food with terrible service.

They lost me a while back. That was before it was even cool to diss on them.

I think I'm done with them. They are very hit or miss now, and mostly miss. Both kids only eat their grilled cheese, so it's already a no go feeding the family.

Agreed! The southern slaw deal sucks…big dry pile of cabbage…ugghhh! The sweet & spicy with the purple goo is also a craptastic fail.

A-1 Thick & Hearty and Chophouse Cheddar burgers should have never left the menu. Very hard to get a consistently fresh hot burger & fries…Whataburger has gone downhill fast.

They also removed the grilled chicken melt.
The manager said they're consolidating rarely used items. The bread for grilled cheese, the grilled veggies for chicken melt, etc. No reason on jalapeño cheddar biscuit.
