Last weekend we picked up 17 pecan slabs from the kiln that a friend of mine had dried. Thanks to agrams for the recommendations on where to take it for milling and drying.
This tree came down last October in Garland. I made an orthophoto of the slabs today. Photos don't do it justice.
ETA: For scale, the ortho is about 40-feet long. The bigger slabs ~10.5-ft, smaller ~8.5-ft. All 2.5 inches thick.
