Anyone have a couple of whole ducks or at least some wings in a freezer you're willing to part with? Need a couple for training. Im in SA.

If you reach out to a local retriever club, they normally have birds they are willing to part with for training purposes. Just a thought.

you mean, gift you...

i'm not sure you can legally sell harvested wildlife.

edit to add...i'll gift you my stash if you train my knuckle head dog too.

bobwhite quail is pretty easy to find and will work as well. I use to keep them live and clip their wings for training sessions. Helps them know how to mark and then use their noses on a cripple.

Plus you get a sense for how soft your dog's mouth is which is good

I have a wood duck in the freezer that never quite made it the the taxidermist and a couple wings leftover from training my pup.

Live in the general SA area and commute through south SA daily if you'd like to try to get them from me.
No $$ necessary just need freezer space.

No, Mr. Game Warden… no parts of game animals for sale here.
